Dashboard warning lights are designed to inform the driver about any issues arising with their vehicle. Some are relatively straighforward and simple to rectify (screen wash level low), some indicate an engine malfunction (check engine, emmissions workshop) and some may present danger to the driver and occupants if the vehicle is still being used (SRS-airbag, ABS, ASR-stability and traction control).
Whenever a warning light appears on your dashboard you should investigate the meaning and act accordingly asap to avoid damaging the vehicle. If the lights indicate a problem with your engine, restraint or drivetrain system you will need to have a diagnostic test performed to read the faultcodes from the affected ECU. A diagnostic scan will reveal the faulty circuit.Contact Us for a diagnostic scan of your vehicle.
